On March 24, 1925, cynologist Heinrich Zimmermann organized World Animal Day at the Sports Palace in Berlin, Germany.

Theme: Since the world belongs to all living things, not just humans, this year's World Animal Day theme is "shared planet."

The primary goals of the day are to improve welfare standards all around the world through raising awareness, enhancing status, and providing support to animals.

In an effort to raise awareness of the importance of animal rights and their welfare, the 4th of October is celebrated as World Animal Day.

World animal day is rapidly spreading across the globe as a day to raise awareness of animal rights and to promote donations to organizations that support animal welfare, such as rescue shelters and campaigns.

This day serves as a vivid reminder to us all to improve the lives of animals and to support the organizations, seminars, campaigns, and communities about animal cruelty.
